Today, Blockbuster Canada launched 'Badges of Honour', its first 2007 national Children's Miracle Network fundraising program.

Five collectable Xbox 360 game pins or badges of honour are on sale in Blockbuster locations across Canada for $2 each.

'Badges of Honour' returns after a brilliant performance in 2006, raising $543,000 in just four weeks. Driven by the successful partnership of Blockbuster Canada and Xbox, all proceeds from the sale of the pins are donated to Children's Miracle Network of which SickKids is a recipient.

This year, to help ensure the continued success of the program, Blockbuster and Xbox have collaborated with YTV. YTV will promote badges of honour in their programming to bring added attention to this already popular program.

You can support SickKids by visiting your local Blockbuster and purchasing a badge of honour. Look for this innovative promotion in Blockbuster stores from March 9th until April 1st.
